God’s Bank – Open 24/7

Personally speaking, I keep drawing out of my bank account with God (YHWH) and can’t recall ever making any deposits.  Let’s be honest here!  In my seeking of God, at first with my “Christmas Wish List,” as a child, you know those conversations like, “Dear God, Please make me a good girl….so I can (have or do or get)…this or that,” and later evolving, though slowly, into, “Dear God, I want to please your heart.  Give me the ability to do so.”

Do you get the message?  No matter how we approach Him, we are always seeking and I do know that not a “prayer” (for we call these “requests” prayer) goes unanswered. We might not like the answer, might not get what we thought we needed and wanted, but He does answer; always.

Now, I personally have tried to make deposits.  My deposits have been more like “bribes;” things like, “Dear God, If you (do or say or whatever) this for me, then I will (do or say or whatever) for you!”  Has that ever worked any better than simply asking?  Nope, it does not work and never will, because you see, God’s bank is interest free, that is to say He’s not interested in what we can do for Him or give Him back – because He IS and thus HAS everything.  It’s like saying to a banker today, “If you loan me $5000 then I will give it back to you.”  Then, what was the purpose of the loan.  If it worked that way, why bother asking at all?

God’s bank is found in me.  It’s all there, all the skills, abilities, wealth (of wisdom, knowledge and manifested manna needed for today) to draw upon.  God’s bank is never closed.  It is open 24 hours a day and He doesn’t employ others to dispense to you or I what it is we ask for.  It is always open, always there.  All we need to do is step through the door, look around the open, uncaged shelves that line the walls of the bank (in our heart), seek, find, reach out and take, what we need for today’s journey.

God’s bank is open 24 hours a day and I think He is disappointed when we don’t step in to visit, to take that which He has prepared and set aside for us to live the joy-full and glorious human lives we were created to live.

Personally speaking, I think God’s bank in my heart is filled with “words”; “words” are my “wealth” and as a result of being open to receive them and share them, the by-product is, “and all these other (things) shall be added unto you.”  All I need do is go in, search the shelves, find the words, the topic to be spoken of, sit and let the inspired word flow from my fingertips.  For you see, I do these things, I receive these things, because like the “double-edged sword” spoken of in the Bible/Torah, I need to “hear” the words to be healed and lifted up, and then I need to share them with another, with you, that you might receive them, so that you might hear them and know…that it’s all there for you as well.  I cannot teach anyone anything.  That job (thankfully) belongs to the Banker’s Spirit.  Once appropriated for self, the Spirit peels away the layers, like the skin of an onion, and reveals to me, and me alone…what is needed to be known.

God’s bank is never-ending, ever full and waiting to be drawn upon.  It is like the story of the lamp that never ran out of oil.  Just a drop and it burned for eternity.

And, finally, that which keeps God’s bank full is the seed of His Love.

LOL:  We are meant to be “Love on Legs”.

Take a journey to your bank and inspect the specially lined shelves of your own personal bank to see what He has prepared and placed there for your, and yours alone, appropriation.

Then share the wealth!
