Reflections of Canada Day Celebrations – Dundas Square Toronto
I took a run downtown and did some photography early afternoon.
Already the streets were teaming with people; all nations for sure. The photo I’m posting is of the glass office towers that surround Dundas Square, excluding the Eaton Centre, reflections bouncing off one another, with the Canada Day banner reflected gloriously in the midst of all. If anyone is in Toronto who is reading this, there is a ton of stuff scheduled for this evening’s celebrations: dance and music from every nation of the world, which makes up this city of 5,000,000 million plus people. I only got to taste a sampling while there. There are several cultural booths set up with people selling their nation’s crafts, perfumes, clothing, jewellery and the prices are beyond reasonable. Go on down and join in with your family Canada and celebrate this great country we are so fortunate to live in!
