Israel – The Consciousness of Light
According to the Lexicon, the word Israel is a composite of two words: sarah and el.
Sarah means: to persist, exert oneself, persevere
and
El means: God
Both of these words that make up the name Israel are primary root words; that is to say, many other Hebrew words would derive from them or be based upon them and their primary meaning.
In the Keys of Enoch I read an interesting definition of Israel. Israel is referred to as a current phase or more correctly the Program of Israel. It suggests there is a “program” in place for this generation who strive towards the things of God; towards God. If I think about that and think about why the birth of Yahshua and my feelings as to the main reason for Yahshua’s birth – to show us the way back to the Father; to return to the path that would lead us, bring us striving (again) towards God, I suppose you could say that Israel is a program; a plan for these many generations, these 2000 plus years.
The Program of Israel, coming to a conclusion. Out with the old and in with the new. A new meridian; a new time, a new age. According to the definition in the Keys of Enoch, Israel, as found in the original Hebrew scross, means:
The Consciousness of Light which contends with the Higher Mind until Victory
There is that word “contend” which is similar to “strive” and fighting towards some goal, some “victory”. There is that reference to striving towards a Higher Mind until Victory. I am certain it is not speaking of some worldly victory, but the individual victory over “self” and the return to the “spiritually” operating beings who we are; our true identify.
“The Consciousness of Light” – Yahshua uses the word “light” as defining who he is:
John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Isaiah 9:2, depending on which version of the bible you read, speaks of a “great light”. The majority use the present or past tense, yet another speaks of a future event:
KJV: The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
New Living Translation: The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.
Are we becoming conscious of light; of our own light? Certainly I’ve become more aware of the true identify of this person over the past several years, an identity that has me clothed in flesh, but the flesh is not my identity. More and more I am realizing just how vibrational I am, filled with energy, made up of vibrating energy in every fibre, without which none would be, nothing would be.
The word “light” comes from the Hebrew word “or” which means: to be or become light. Yahshua really was saying he is light, but I am afraid we’ve just taken that as a nice little, cutsie saying; not that he really meant he “was a light”. What about the stories in the OT; those who encountered could not come near nor look upon, for the brilliance of the “light” of the countenance was such that they would have been blinded.
Why did I sit down to write this blog? I think it is because our eyes are still on the ground, still looking to the things and places of this world for an answer. The war rages over the “land” of Israel – but was YHWH speaking of a piece of land or was he speaking of a people; and if he was speaking of a people, was he speaking about a religious denomination, like Jew or Judaism.
There are 12 tribes of Israel. There are 12 consciousness dimensions of spiritual man. Are we not spiritual, like our Creator; made in the image of the Creator who is Spirit?
Hear O Israel – can flesh hear Spirit? Then must we not return to our spiritual hearing and sight if we are to hear what the Spirit is saying.
