Life

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature. – Helen Keller

I came across this quote by Helen Keller.  Helen Keller has inspired many for a lot of years.  When you think you have issues and challenges that are

here today and gone tomorrow

take time to think of people, like Helen Keller, who had challenges that would never go away, and who rose above those challenges to become magnificent and inspirational people; people of influence who left a mark that said to the world and says to me,

you can do anything you set your mind to.

The words of Helen Keller speak of security.  How many of us are living in a time when there seems to be no security?  It used to be (but that is yester-year) that if you worked for a major corporation or some financial magnate, you were secure for life.  Not so today.  Even our weather; is it secure?  Are we secure in knowing here in Canada that, “Hey it is winter, it will snow.  Or, hey it is summer it will not snow?”  No, nothing the world has to offer is secure anymore.

So, where should one seek his/her security?  I think the beginning is within each and everyone of us and then raising our eyes towards the heavens and beyond, connecting with the Holy Power that created us; drawing upon the Source of all that is, seeking what is pro-offered by our Creator.  For too long we have made gods out of the things created by the hand of man.

More for me than anyone else is this message.  Come, let us rise up to a higher place, a higher consciousness and become, as today’s modern saying goes,

the change we want to see

in this world that is groaning in birth pains, as though about to explode!  If it is indeed giving birth, then let us work together to help it create the world we would live in!
