The Power of Words

Its’ funny, just the other day, driving to work, I thought about all the stuff that is going on in the office; stressed out people, people behaving in ways that really are asymptomatic of their insecurities.  I was thinking how peaceful and serene I felt most of the week, having just returned from a retreat and soul replenishing holiday by the sea.  I am sure there are many who find the same solace and comfort from the ocean; just sitting on the shore staring out in the great vastness.   It’s so true.  If you lie on the shore at the edge of the water and close your eyes, resting for a while, then place your hand on your chest, in the area of your heart, all the while continung to listen and hear the sounds around you – you will indeed find it to be true that the rhythm of the waters crashing to the shore or lapping at your feet as you lay outstretched and relaxed with eyes closed – the rhythm is identical to that of your heart beat!

Now, where am I going with this?  Oh yes, as I was saying, as I was driving into the office thinking about all the chaoctic and hectic things I was about to be enshrouded in for the next eight or nine or ten hours, the thoughts were, “So what!  Life will go on as it will.  You, Shammah, do not have to embrace it; do not have to become embroiled in the chaos.”  So simple and it was a definite yes and that’s how my week continued to unfold.  Similarly, as I awoke this morning and was thinking about some things from the office, my Spirit said, “Let it go.”  And I did.

Now…what prompted me to write this article was an e-mail that I just received; a confirmation of what my Spirit revealed to me as “the way” for me to progress daily; because, the chaos won’t cease, and in fact will worsen.

Here are the key elements of that email:

“In all linear experiences there are moments that bring imbalance and confusion to the individual.  In the attempt to right this predicament the incarnate soul begins to investigate the physical life to find clarity and solution. …. In these times of trouble the only hope for solution is the immersion back to the soul energy…  a separation from the dramas that appear larger than life itself.”

And that’s the way it is; that’s the simple solution and that’s why as I sat to write this note, Yahshua’s Words came to mind – and I thought, “Yeah.  That’s what he means.”  You see, I’ve always related it to not being of the “mindset that seeks the material things of the world,” and I suppose that is part of it.  But even more, and if you can grasp this, I pray it will be your food, your sustenance – it means, don’t embrace the troubles that are crashing in all around you.  Remember who walks with you; remember in whose hands is your life.  There’s another scripture that comes to mind, from Psalms I believe, that tells us that though 10,000 fall around us, not a hair on our head will be touched.

YHWH is not man that He should like, nor make false (for that is a lie) promises.

So I embrace those words and allow them to nourish and encourage and enlighten – and give me great joy in these times of trouble.

Ask yourself:  Is anything too difficult for YHWHÉ
