What Is Exposed ~~Dies: A Challenge for 2010 for Humanity

22 Dec

I know this is the season to speak of life and harmony and good will toward all men; a time of possible healing and renewal~~so, what has my topic got to do with all of this?  On the several sites that I belong to, including a writing site, many ask the question, “Will there ever be Peace on Earth?”  I’ve written my exposition on a couple of occasions and many, like you and I, ask this question time and time again.  What will it take, on an individual and national and international scale for us, you and I, created by the same Creator….thus having the same Father….thus being brothers and sisters, to get along; to be at Peace, at-one [as it was]me[a]nt (“atonement”) to be?

We’ve looked here, and there; we’ve created so many laws to rule us here on earth – to tell us how to behave; what is acceptable and what is not….that I am certain I can say without a doubt that not one human being is capable of telling us all the “good will” laws (written by man) there are on planet earth that supposedly will help us to live as one with “peace on planet earth”.

We continue to look externally for an internal solution; I say internal because all evil, all greed, all hatred comes from within.  It’s starts with just one man and like a pebble in a pond, because every human being has a “fear” inside of him (whether s/he will admit it or not); some fear about something, that causes him/her to react in anger or hatred.  We are all weak; none is infallible; none is al-mighty in the flesh.  There is a need to get at the “root” cause of our sick humanity…and thus, we must go within; I must search within myself.  How can you fix it if you don’t know what is broken?

Yahshua was our at-one-ment – he was one man.  When he died on the cross we are told the “veil was rent,” that is torn apart.  I always thought it was some kind of external thing that kept us from “entering” out there, into the presence of YHWH.  But, my thoughts these days are elsewise.  My thoughts are that the veil is like a scale that over the “eyes of our soul” that keeps us from seeing “within”; from entering into the “heart” of matters; from seeing our true essence.  If we could but see (not with physical sight) who we are; our completeness, our oneness; undivided and whole and “holy” because of our source of be-in-g(od) – we would know that we know that everything we ever needed, is within us; we but “think” and we “have.”

And, so I share with you a short verse I read in a book called, The Gnostic Gospels of Jesus” (his real name is the Hebrew Yahshua) by Marvin Meyer.  Do you not remember his words when telling the disciples that he was going (home) to the Father, that they (you and I) would do what Yahshua did, “and even greater?”  Then why aren’t you and I doing these things, and even greater?  How much greater than raising a man from the dead, and yet we cannot even stop our city councilmen from quarrelling and bashing one another; we cannot even stop our children from dying under the influence of the tools of satan (alcohol and drugs); we cannot even restore the minds of our aging parents and grandparents, stricken with alzheimer’s disease.

Is it because we have not looked within; me within, you within…to get at the root cause of what ails mankind individually and collectively.  Is it because we have not gone into the closet of our individual hearts, asked the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) to expose, to bring to light whatever it finds behind the closed and locked doors of our hearts, that rule us (without our even knowing) and cause us to do things that we really do not want us to do?  I believe the answer is yes…and wait, before you (and I) come up with that lame excuse, “But, who am I?  I am only one person.  I am not the President of the USA or Prime Minister of Canada….or whatever.  I am nobody.  Who will or would listen to anything I have to say?” remember Yahshua is one person, born in a tiny village, son of a carpenter, didn’t go to Harvard for a degree in law or medicine (as far as I know), and yet everyone living today, everyone who has lived in the last 2009 years, knows about him (whether they believe is another story).  So your, my, excuse of being a nobody, just doesn’t cut it.

Yahshua amazes me; the depth of the meaning of his parables.  Even if you’ve not gone beyond reading what is in the Bible/Torah, to explore other treasures, like the Dead Sea Scrolls (Old Testament stuff) and the book I am about to quote from, you will agree that as we meditate upon his words, there is much “meat and potatoes” a lot of “wisdom and knowledge” and the Spirit gives us understanding of the true meaning behind his words.

So I challenge every reader who reads this blog, who seeks peace and harmony:  within him/herself, their family, their community, their city, their country, their nation….and the world…look within and expose what it is; seek to bring it to light, to have destroyed what has been destroying us humankind for thousands of years.  If you expose it, it will die.  Just like that movie, “If You Build It, They Will Come,” so too I dare to say, “If you expose it, it will die,” and we will Live in Love!

As long as their [insides] are hidden, [most] beings in the world are alive and well.  [If their insides] are exposed, they die, as is clear by the example of the visible part of a person.  [As long as] a person’s intestines are hidden, the person is alive.  [83] If the intestines are exposed and come out, the person dies.  Likewise, while its root is hidden a tree sprouts and grows.  If its root is exposed, the tree withers.

So it is with all things produced in the world, not only the visible but also the hidden.  As long as the root of evil is hidden, it is strong.  When it is recognized, it is undone, and if it is brought to light, it dies.  For this reason the word says, “Already the ax is laid at the root of the trees.” It will not merely cut them down, for what is cut down sprouts up again.  Rather, the ax will dig down until it cuts out the root.  Jesus [Yahshua] pulled out the root of the whole place, but others did so only in part.

Let’s stop putting bandaids on our illness; let’s get to the root cause of what ails us and destroy it…before the destroyer ultimately wipes us all off the face of the earth.  Let’s get to the root causes of the evil that rules this world, bring it to the light, before the Love of Yahshua, offer it to the Light of Love and have it consumed and destroyed by that Love!

10 Days of Awe – Continued

22 Sep

It is amazing, is it not, how Yahshua, how YHWH, continues His work in us.  If you’ve read the first post on the 10 days of awe, you will have read how I liked it to spring cleaning of a house, only this is spiritual house cleaning.

I received this article in an e-mail, it too speaking of the spiritual house cleaning.  There is a Word that tells us that when confirmed by two, then you know it to be a Word to be heard.  So I hear and pray that my spirit respond and do as instructed.  Blessings to all!

Al Chet Prayer

The Goal Of Al Chet Is To Get To The Root Of The Problem.  To become more like Yeshua and to become conformed to His Image and Torah is a process, it does not happen over night.  The key is never to give up, because He does not give up on us.  We are all under construction and a work in process and this is the time to do spiritual house cleaning.

We are now in the 10 days of awe, a time to measure our spiritual growth and make amends where needed prior to Yom Kippur.

My Spiritual Annual Review Days Of Awe Day 2:

Prayer:

“….and my people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from thier wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven; will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.” 11 Chronicles 7:14

What areas of your life were you succesful in your prayer Life?

Did you fall short in your goals to spend time in prayer?

How can you improve your prayer life in the coming year?

#32. For the sin we have sinned before You for throwing off (Your) yoke;

The Yoke of Divine Monarchy – quote from Rav. Dov Elfant.

“As Rosh HaShonah approaches, we should reflect that there is no greater work than to serve the Master of the World, the King who reigns over kings, and there is no greater privilege than shouldering the yoke of divine monarchy.  By doing so, we acquire a feeling of true worth and purpose that is unparalleled and incomparable.
This is the theme of Rosh HaShonah:  to recognize our own value by willingly and enthusiastically accepting our place in the service of the King”

Who is our King, but Yeshua our Messiah and we are to take upon His yoke of service in His Kingdom.  Isn’t He called the “King of Kings and the Lord of Lords”?  When we refuse to serve Him by serving others we are ‘Throwing Off The Yoke”.

The purpose of a “Yoke” is to distribute the work load equally.  That is why you should not be “unequally yoked”  with an unbeliever, because the believer wants to pull in one direction and the unbliever in another direction.

‘Yoke” also means taking on responsibility.   To walk a Torah submissive lifestyle is take on the responsibility that the Torah gives us in taking care of the widow and the orphan, helping the poor, being fair in business dealings etc. etc., also being responsible in supporting the Community and the work of God.

What did Yeshua say regarding taking on His Yoke?  It is about serving in His Kingdom.   Why do we Yoke animals, because they need to pull a load.  We all need to do our share of pulling the load in Gods Kingdom.  It is not a burden it is a joy!  We are working with Him in His Kingdom!

Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Yoke also refers to obedience to Torah/G-d’s teaching and instructions.   We do not obey to earn favor with G-d or earn our salvation, we obey because we love Him and because of Yeshua what was a heavy burden has become one of rest and peace in Him.

Now if you look at obedience throught he eyes of legalism, then it is a burden.  However if you look at it through the Spirit of the Torah, the Spirit of Grace, the Spirit of Messiah, then it is easy and light.  Why?  Because Yeshua already paid the price for our sin and disobedience.  It is sin and disobedience that makes Torah a burden and a heavy yoke, because sin is a crual task master and also it fights against the ways of G-d.  That is why we needed a Redeemer to bear the burden of our sins for us.

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

33. For the mistakes we committed before You in throwing off the yoke (i.e. refusing to accept responsibility). Judaism defines greatness as having a greater degree of responsibility. Deep down this is what every human being wants –

Ask yourself:

Have you helped feed the poor?

Have you clothed those who were naked?

Have you visted the sick and prayed for healing for them?

Have you given living water to those who are spiritually thirsty?

Have you prayed for those who are prisoners for Messiah in other lands?

Have you visited those in prison and shared the Good News of Messiah with them?

Have you practiced hospitality?  Are you willing to open your door to a brother or sister who might need a place to live or food to eat?

Have you helped share the financial burden of your Congregation by being a faithful tither?

Have you helped share the work of the ministry in your Congregation by being a good worker who does not grumble or complain, but does it as onto the King?

This is the Yoke/responsibility of the Kingdom that we are to take on, are we willing to do it?

Sulfur – Homeopathic Remedy for …. Coughs, Congestion & a Multitude of Other Ailments

19 Sep

This is interesting.  I was researching for a homeopathic remedy for chest congestion that is hanging on from a bad viral infection.  It would seem the remedy is sulfur, and so I shall visit my friendly health food store and pick it up.  Now, what I also found was an article defining a “Sulfur” personality….and thought, WOW, it sure sounds like me, and I think those who know me would agree, especially with regards to the fiery personality, the eclectic tastes and interests, creativity, etc.    All quotes are taken from the site hyper linked into the word “sulfur” above.  This is what the article has to say:

Personality profile

Elemental Sulphur has always been associated with fire. Sulphur is flammable and burns with a stench, which can be smelt at the site of an erupting volcano, and brimstone (the naturally occurring form of mineral sulphur), is said to fuel the fires of hell. When Sulphur powder is left on the skin it produces a burning irritation, hence its use homeopathically for skin diseases. Even the mineral’s yellow hue reminds us of its fiery affinities. The Sulphur individual is fiery in every sense of the word. Fire has always been used to represent the Divine Spirit in mankind, which lights up the clay of the physical body. There is a distinct spiritual element to most Sulphur individuals, which is inspirational rather than merely intellectual. Fire also represents the passions, and there is no more passionate type than Sulfur, whether one is considering the appetites of-the flesh, intellectual inspiration, romantic love, or zealous enthusiasm for virtually anything under the sun. Whatever interests Sulphur he pursues passionately. Fire is also anger, and Sulphur’s vivacity can easily spillover into irritation and outright rage when his determined will is blocked, or he feels wronged in some way. Finally, fire represents the spark of creativity and genius. Sulphur individuals are generally very creative people, particularly intellectually. All of the great scientific and philosophical minds recorded in history were Sulphurs, from Socrates to Einstein, as well as the greatest of the great composers. The world would be a dull place without Sulphur’s inspiration, optimism and eccentricity.

As for sulfur and its homeopathic uses, besides what I require it for, it also aids in ridding us of the following symptoms.   Oh, and of course, sulfur is referred to in the Bible, but is called brimstone!

Uses

Sulfur is mainly used to treat skin conditions, such as eczema, candidiasis, or diaper rash where the skin looks permanently dirty and is dry, scaly, itchy, red, and worse from being scratched, and a dry scalp.

Digestive complaints that are helped by this remedy include a tendency to regurgitate food; indigestion that is worsened by drinking milk; vomiting and chronic diarrhea that occur early in the morning; hunger pain with a sinking feeling in the stomach that occurs around 11 a.m.; itchy, burning hemorrhoids; redness and itching around the anus; and anal fissures.

In women, Sulfur is effective for premenstrual syndrome symptoms, for example, headaches, irritability, and insomnia, and menopausal symptoms, such as flushing, dizziness, and sweating.

Sulfur is also given for mental stress, lack of energy and willpower; forgetfulness; irritability; depression; disturbed sleep with nightmares; early waking; and indecision.

Other ailments helped by Sulfur include: fever; headaches; migraines; conjunctivitis and red eyes; chronic nasal discharge with greenish mucus; coughs with sneezing; low back pain from prolonged standing, bending, or sitting, or due to menstruation.

When ill, people who need Sulfur are sensitive to bad smells, and are thirsty more often than hungry.
