I thought I’d do some checking on things re the swine flu, and especially after reading the following in an article that was published today. It’s the portion that indicates who the likely first candidates will be to get the flu shot, once CDC and whomever determines that it is safe and effective to do so. Dr. Marc Siegel, an associate professor of medicine at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York City, thinks he has a pretty good idea of what the recommendation for the H1N1 vaccine will be.
“We should target health-care workers, those under 2 [years of age], pregnant women, those chronically ill, those with asthma.” Siegel said. “The next category should be school children. Not only is schools where flu spreads, but there isn’t as much immunity in the younger population.”
All these groups have been the most susceptible to the H1N1 swine flu, with the majority of hospitalizations and deaths. Unlike seasonal flu, which typically strikes hardest at the very young and the elderly, H1N1 swine flu has proven more troublesome for children and young adults. Scientists believe that older people might have some immunity to H1N1 viruses, which haven’t been predominant flu strains for several decades.
Another infectious-disease expert said the twin threats of seasonal flu and the new H1N1 strain will require many people to get shots for both diseases and could pose management problems.
“This coming flu season will be quite different than those in the recent past as the new H1N1 swine flu strain will in all probability re-emerge and cause significant illness in at-risk people, such as young children and adolescents,” said Dr. Pascal James Imperato, dean and distinguished service professor in the School of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City.
The seasonal flu vaccine will offer no protection against the H1N1 swine flu, he said.
I am indeed an avid believer that God has provided in each of us and through nature, all that is naturally needed to stay healthy and to combat dis-ease. I did a google search for naturopatic and swine flu to see what the profession has to say about it, and found the following article. Before I post it, let me say that we seem to eat penicillin like candy, and we know our bodies have become “immune” to its effects for over use. I was introduced to Colloidal Silver, probably six or so years ago, and did my investigation and ultimately purchased the “equipment’ (if you would call it that) so that I can make my own. It’s pretty much “electrified water”. It is a natural treatment for oxidents and poisons in the body and it works. When I was deathly ill with a cold and congestion, the doctors prescribed a “puffer” so I could breathe, and some heavy duty antibiotics. I picked them up; I have drug coverage and so they were free. They sit in my cabinet upopened and I won’t use them, but perhaps someone might desperately need them some day. Why not, they were free.

Suffice it to say, I am a follower of David Icke and what he has to say – however, I still “examine for myself” and require conviction of the Spirit. We need to seek to know for ourselves, to go within to find the answer and the say to go.

Swine flu better treated naturally with homeopathic medicine (video)

Long before there the medical profession and drug companies became big business homeopathic medicine was a prevalent as allopathic medicine. They even did a better job with the global pandemic of 1918 that killed millions of people. In the 1918 flu pandemic homeopaths reported around 1% mortality in their cases, while conventional doctors were losing 30% of their patients. So, who does a better job today?
Even though homeopathic and naturopathic medicine is now relegated to being classified as “alternative” or “complimentary,” they both provide excellent care. My primary physician is a naturopath, and she has treated me comprehensively and well over the years. I would not go to her with a broken leg, but in most cases, she has better solutions than “modern” allopathic medicine.
It was obvious that swine flu would become pandemic but now the World Health Organization (WHO) has made it official. By declaring the geographic spread of swine flu cannot be stopped, they moved it into the pandemic category.
This certainly sounds much more threatening than an epidemic, but it really does not affect people who are not living in the poorest areas of our planet. It does effect the drug companies and other businesses which will ramp up what I have no doubt will soon be the “war on swine flu”. Actually, it’s the “let’s continue to cash in on the fear we can generate” movement, and medical institutions have been doing it for decades. Remember the Dengue Fever scare of the early 1980′s? What about the Swine Flu empidemic of 1976? (see Ron Paul video below.) How about SARS? Probably not, because they were not big deal as killer diseases.
And how about getting that flu shot every year? Our economy depends on people being so scared of a couple days illness that they will fork out $50 for a shot that has never been proven to work. And don’t even get me started about unproved but very expensive heart bypass surgery.
Personally, I am more a believer in the power of the mind. If you think the latest pandemic or flu will “get” you, it probably will. In the case of swine flu, if you’re living in American, you’ll probably have to go out of your way to get it. Go live in an African village for a few months to test out if your swine flu vaccination works.
