Irish Streets

I am in Ireland at this time and as I drove to Killarney and Tralee yesterday, I went through this wee town with these over-hanging shamrocks strewn on the wires.  They look like they would light up at night.  How Irish is this!  The dancing leprechaun was an add-in by me.  The terrain that I drove through yesterday was rough and rugged and at points quite mountainous; I imagine the winter months can be pretty bleak especially for those not living in even a small village; a lot of isolated housing, thatched roofs and the like.

Truly a beautiful country, and today despite the rain….I shall head out; first stop, Blarney Castle and if the weather doesn’t worsen, south toward the sea.
